In the summer of 1980, Rhett immortalized his German Shepherd, Samson, in his first painting of a dog. He had no way of knowing at the time, the image of a dog, cat, goat, horse, you name it, would be littered throughout his next thirty years of painting. Now, you can have your favorite photographs of your pets transformed into works of art by Rhett Lynch. It is simple to get started, affordable and better yet, you may be saving the life of a pet in need.

Going from one veterinarian to another in search of hope for his dog "Baby", Rhett learned many pets suffer needlessly or even fail to survive because their owners do not have the funds they need to give proper care to their pets. Too many times a pet is put down simply because the fees for care are out of reach. Now, you can make a difference and prevent this tragic occurrence.

As of 25 July 2010, Rhett will donate 50% of the proceeds of all Pet Portraits to the "Veterinary Care for Medical Emergencies Fund". This fund will be available to all in need of emergency services for their pet.

THERE ARE TWO WAYS YOU CAN GET INVOLVED.
1. Commission Rhett to create a portrait of your pet. (See special introductory offer below.)
2. Donate directly to the "Veterinary Care for Medical Emergencies Fund".
